There is a strong and supportive relationship between the school and its community with a very high number of the present parent body who are past scholars of the school. The School Association plays an active and supportive role in the operation of the school. Students also have links with the business community through Work Placements.

 School Association

The role of the School Association is to have input into the strategic direction of the school; set school policies within the framework of the strategy; monitor the school plans and the budget.

These roles are clearly defined in the School Association Constitution. The School Association is the over-arching body that controls the direction of Queechy High School. It is a good mix of parents, teachers and students; all of whom have an equal input into the direction of the School.
In addition to the above the Queechy Association takes on the role of fundraising and organising social activities.
In recent years the Association has performed many tasks and initiated many projects to help develop the school.
From securing new classrooms, to planting trees, to funding seats and running art auctions, the volunteers of the Association have been very busy.
To continue this good work all parents, friends and families are invited to attend the Association meeting and add to our students' learning experience.
