This term in HaSS, Grade 7 classes are learning about the key features of ancient societies. We have looked at the theory that people moved out of Africa between 120,000 and 60,000 years ago and migrated to other parts of the world.

Alongside historical knowledge and content, students will be taught how to read and create timelines, take notes using the Cornell Note-taking method and research effectively.

We will finish the term with an Inquiry task so students can put their skills to practise and deepen their understanding of Ancient civilisations.
