Visual Art - Electric Botany
‘Electric Botany’ is a collaborative Art trail which celebrates the work of well known Australian botanical illustrator
Margaret Stones.
A handful of Queechy students submitted work for this project which has recently been added to a traffic signal box on the corner of Paterson and Charles Street in the Launceston CBD.
Congratulations to all the students who contributed to this project – such a great opportunity to have your artwork on public display!
Visit: 'Explore the trail - Queen Victoria Museum & Art Gallery' (qvmag.tas.gov.au) for more details about 'Electric Botany', including an electronic map you can use to follow the trail of traffic signal boxes throughout Launceston.
P.S - The Art room is open most Mondays and Tuesdays at lunch for students from all grades who are interested in doing some extra art in their break time!
